Turns out that manufacturing a high tech watch is a bit more complicated then I thought but we have been making progress. It needs a bit more tweaking, so we will be going on to kickstarter.com soon to ask for your help in having this watch go in to final production stages and on to your wrists! Watch oNe is a watch that goes beyond of a traditional watch. It’s a watch that will never go out of style, a watch that will go beyond decades. There are thousands of watches out in the world that are unique in there own way but once you buy that special watch you are stuck with the same design. So, why not have a watch that is designed around the “face”, a virtual face so to speak. The main idea for the Watch oNe is that you can change the face of the watch with a click of a button. For example, you can enjoy the beauty of a mechanical movement, a smooth balanced masterpiece or break the rules of a physical world and have something that would be impossible with a traditional watch. It could represent your style, your mood and your personality, as any of those change, so does your watch. The cool thing is that you are the designer of the faces. Anyone could design upload/download their “faces” for free on our website for the whole world to share. This could bring a community of watch lovers together, with their ideas and innovations. The watch “faces”will also have a calender, timer and etc.
The customization does not stop at the face itself. The module, the brain so to speak can be easily interchanged with other body styles. The simplicity of the design allows this to be done in seconds.
The innovative module is very durable, made out of sapphire glass and stainless steel, making it waterproof even with the exposed USB port.
The physical body of the watch is made out of abs plastic, stainless, stainless steel and fine leather but the possibilities of the materials and designs could be endless.
The way you would take out the module is, each casing has a hole in the back, so you would just push it out and put your module into another casing…this will take seconds and you will not have to mechanically disassemble anything. The module and casing are held together by powerful earth magnets.
The ability to change body’s will give you freedom to wear whatever style you like, weather it’s sporty or trendy
Watch oNe has a state of the art E-Ink display which is backlit by EL (Electroluminescence). More about E-ink can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink) Basically it’s a display technology that is very durable, has extremely low energy consumption and is very easy on the eye compared to LCD displays. Low energy consumption means it will allow the face to be on all the time. Compared to the Apple Nano, where the face is always black unless you push the button to light up the screen, which could be a big discomfort for people that have their hands full. Another disadvantage of tech watches is battery life, every time you light up your LCD screen it uses a lot of battery power, by that you end up charging your watch every 3-4 days. With watch oNe’s e-ink technology, a battery should last you for moths. The watch can be easily charged via micro USB port, which is also used to transfer your new skins.
The size itself will also not scare you, being 38mm by 46mm!!! It will fit on any sized wrist.

And the winner is……Version 2..close call…but all of you that have voted for Version 1 will be happy to see that it will also get produced…there is a catch) but that will be unveiled shortly…

So one day I was walking around the outskirts of the vintage digital game world “which I sometimes do, please don’t look at me weird”, I came across an old scenario that has been embedded in my childhood memory…The colorful steel beams of Donkey Kong and I started to wonder, what happens to all those video game props when games become old….do they get stored away in a digital world or do they fade away with time?  The famous steel beams from Donkey Kong have served their time but I could not pass by such an ingenious design…. So as a designer I though how can I encourage Mario to take this back. I’m sure with popularity of Mario he is not a simple plumber anymore and he wouldn’t want some rusty beat up steel beams at his place but he would probably need some kind of sweet looking wall to put his awards and trophies on.

So here is a Donkey Kong wall, strong, good looking but still has its character. The wall is made out of individual sections; each section is made out of durable but light carbon fiber, anodized aluminum pixels that are joined with strong stainless steel rods and toughened glass tops. The special mounts themselves are made out of steel and can support up to 60lbs

So Mario….sit your Lady friend on that nice looking couch you have and enjoy the show!

Watch oNe, this is the concept that has inspired me to peruse this project into production.

This watch will never go out of style. Watch oNe is not your traditional analog watch, it’s a digital watch that offers you literally multiple interfaces so you can never go out of style. You can easily change the time display mode by clicking a button, starting from traditional to futuristic display. It could represent your style, your mood, and your personality. What if you get bored and want more sophisticated time display? Well, you can buy new “face” in the available online store and upload it via micro USB port hidden on the side of the watch, as simple as that. The physical watch itself has been designed to make it possible for you to interchange different parts with a range of colors and materials.

I would like to introduce you to an old friend that kept trying to take over earth but retired and became a couch ; – )
The Space Invader Couch is basically a space invader turned in to a couch, a very fashionable and hard to pass by couch. The couch is all leather, with two glass surfaces. Although it might look uncomfortable it’s actually really soft, mainly lined and made with memory foam. Plus this is something different from a conventional couch

A Spring rider lounge chair. The outer shell is made out of 2 peace stamped aluminum parts, which is then welded together, polished and tinted. The top body part is connected
to a bottom polished stand by a  strong, balanced steel spring. The inside of the sphere is lined with black swayed leather. The pillows are also made
out of white leather. The idea of the spring will provide a “suspension” like feeling, giving you the most comfortable lounging you can get.
