This is a 2015 Honda CB 750 a predecessor to the 70-80 CB we all remember. It is reborn with state of the art Performance, handling, breaking and technology. The next generation of a smart bike, that knows its owner…literally.
The power is a 750cc four cylinder engine that would be powered by liquid hydrogen. The engine is shorter in size and lighter compared to today’s modern 4 cylinder engines but more powerful and fuel efficient. Fuel tank capacity is 5 gallons with 1 gallon in reserve. Putting power to the ground is a six speed; duel clutch transmission which includes features like electronically controlled lunch control and traction control for those wet days.
Going to the track or just cursing down the canyon has not been as easy as this. All of the bikes tuning is done by the touch of the finger on the onboard computer. Anything from suspension to the engine can be electronically adjusted.
The frame and the body itself is a unibody construction combining materials like carbon fiber and aluminum. The seat cowling is part of the frame which has strong points for strength, durability and weak points for flexibility. So don’t worry about the seat it will hold up to 300pounds.
The CB750 features a full on, front and rear electro-magnetic suspension. It’s less maintenance and can be electronically adjusted for best performance.
Bikes sensors will give out a read out every 1/10 of a second and will adjust everything from suspension to the rider’s seat height giving best and safest performance you can get.
Now the safety, everything you would expect in a motorcycle from 2015. Electronically controlled ABS, Airbag, Traction Control and a Steering Damper. The system will also feature a radar technology to sense an upcoming head-on collision. This will automatically slow the bike and lower the seat to have more “body grip” so you do not fly out. Of course some of these features can be electronically disabled to suit the rider.
The rims have been designed to be more sleek and aerodynamic. Constructed out of carbon fiber, the teardrop shape will reduce the weight and the drag.
Now the onboard computer, which can be controlled through a 5” OLED multi touch display positioned right on the fuel tank. This is the brains of the bike. There are 3 menus: GPS, Drive modes, diagnostics mode.
GPS mode is like your standard GPS that will give you directions and etc, but it will be connected to the internet through Wi-Fi and 3G. This will enable you to find information on the go and implement it to your rout.
Drive mode: economy, race and standard. All can be electronically tuned.
Diagnostic mode: lap times, gas consumption, top speed and etc.
Despite of all Tech this is still a Honda, so things like craftsmanship and attention to detail are also included.
