The Wine Pod is an IoT wine dispenser designed to keep wine at an optimal serving temperature. Initially, the client—a winemaker—envisioned a dispenser that could pair with sellable wine pods. I suggested taking the concept further by integrating cooling capabilities into the dispenser. Through research, I found that red and white wines are best enjoyed at specific temperatures, and that certain wines require precise temperature control to fully experience their flavor and texture.

The Wine Pod evolved into a smart device with its own app, allowing users to monitor the remaining wine in the pod, adjust the temperature, track the time in the dispenser, and even order new pods directly through the app. This added functionality creates a seamless and enjoyable wine experience tailored to the user’s preferences.
